EBriks InfoTech, Custom Development provides irrelevant back link or a link from a spammy website and if you are sure to remove it from your website then take an initial step and send a request to the webmaster of that corresponding website to remove links.

However, you should keep in mind that Disavow tool doesn't guarantee to remove the requested link the very next second but it is said by Google that it will take 45 days for removing links. Let's have a look on some of the useful tips on the usage of Disavow tool-
DO's
·        Make use of only TextFile .txt (notepad)
·        Use # for comments for instance, # although this is a paid link but i did not make any payment for it
·        Use single link url per line
·        Use right syntax for removing the entire domain -domain: sitename.com
·        While link updation, download current file and append the links
Formating
·        To remove an individual link
For instance, # Requested webmaster to remove the link but no response
http://spam.worstsite.com/stuff/comment s.html
·        To remove the entire domain
For instance, # Requested Webmaster to remove the entire domain but no response
You should not use www or http for removing the entire domain.
Domain:worstsite.com
·        Domain names are not case sensitive. (Use -->Domain: Worstsite.com or domain: worstsite.com)
·        Space is not considered (Use domain: worstsite.com or domain : worstsite.com)
How to find out unnatural links?
Websites that should be scrutinized by disavow tool are-
·        Irrelevant websites
·        Spammy websites
·        Pages with too many outward links
·        Paid websites
·        Websites affected by Malware
·        Other language websites
·        Reciprocal Links on a website
·        Websites from same Class C IP’s
·        Links generated from website, having automated tools
Matt Cutts has also recommended to use the Machete approach instead of scalpel. Machete disavows can remove all bad backlinks from an entire domain, whereas, Scalpel tool removes only the individual backlink. If your rivals have posted something derogatory about your website with a backlink on another site from where you are generating quality links, then you should make use of disavow tool in order to remove only that Specific URL. Before simply using disavowing tool, you should closely analyze the link and only if you find it to be irrelevant, then only send requests for removing.
Important recommendation-
The frequency of checking the disavow links can be in the time frame of 60 days.
Good Practices-
If you want to send the text file for disavowing links then make use of the below format-
# comment the updated date
Attach the links
Once you have downloaded and added the links, sending request once to Google is suffice.
